Twined Branches above my head
Soft ferns make a bed
As i lay down the dappled light
Shows things in a different sight
The vines writhe down
Like a green night gown
The leaves like lace
Hide a veiled face
Stepping through the forest copes
I feel a rise in my hopes
I take a chance
Just for a glance
What i see is so amazing
A warm meadow, the sunlight blazing
There is a river clear and cold
Constantly dancing who knows how old?
Here in this ornate forest
i always feel like a tourist
So here I am in these luxurious bounds;
This place of wonder wears its own crown
Though the dusky place Ive yet to see
I know this place does call for me
Delicate in its own ways
I see the beauty through the haze
Mysterious as it might be
ill know id never flee
So back i go from where I came
I know I will be back again
Those twined branches above my head
Those soft ferns made a bed
When I lay down the dappled light
Had showed me things in a different sight
Soft ferns make a bed
As i lay down the dappled light
Shows things in a different sight
The vines writhe down
Like a green night gown
The leaves like lace
Hide a veiled face
Stepping through the forest copes
I feel a rise in my hopes
I take a chance
Just for a glance
What i see is so amazing
A warm meadow, the sunlight blazing
There is a river clear and cold
Constantly dancing who knows how old?
Here in this ornate forest
i always feel like a tourist
So here I am in these luxurious bounds;
This place of wonder wears its own crown
Though the dusky place Ive yet to see
I know this place does call for me
Delicate in its own ways

Mysterious as it might be

So back i go from where I came
I know I will be back again
Those twined branches above my head
Those soft ferns made a bed
When I lay down the dappled light
Had showed me things in a different sight
My amateur try at doing some poetry... meh its okay, and tell me what you think!!
